Kerry DeBay


Kerry is a Board-Certified, Registered Art Therapist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and Certified Trauma Specialist. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and her graduate degree in Expressive Therapies from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Kerry has been working with children and families in Palm Beach County for over 19 years with a significant focus on grief & loss education and support. She is the author of The Grief Bubble, a workbook for children designed to assist in the understanding and expression of grief inresponse to a loss through death. She is a contributing author of Assessment and Treatment Activities for Children, Adolescents, and Families Volume II: Practitioners Share Their Most Effective Techniques.

Kerry is also a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. Trained in the Kripalu style, she is a certified Prem Yoga teacher and has additional training and certification in Restorative & Pre-Natal yoga. Kerry has been practicing Yoga since 2001. Completing a 200-hour teacher training course, she became a certified Yoga Teacher in 2002 and later a Yoga Center manager for 3 years. Under her tutelage the center was named the "Best Yoga Center in the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast" by online voters of channel 25 WPBF. Kerry has served as a primary assistant in six local 200-hour Yoga teacher training programs recognized by Yoga Alliance. She was one of the featured yoga teachers at the 4th annual West Palm Beach Yoga Day and has taught for the City of West Palm Beach at the public library.

Kerry’s practice is informed by her professional and personal experience and commitment to the journey of self-awareness, healing and growth. Her philosophy and style embrace compassion, self-acceptance, the wisdom of the body and Self , and the innate ability to survive, heal and thrive.
